Our rabbitry is very small. We currently maintain five separate pure breeds and are in the process of building our own Pedigrees. Our rabbitry was born out of a love for our daughters pet rabbit, Bun Bun (breed unknown). Bun Bun taught us so much about caring for these sweet creatures and we fell in love with their temperament and individual style. From our cuddly Lops and brawny New Zealand, to our Diva Angoras, we came to love each and every one.
This year, we’ve added Rex and Creme d’ Argent to our breeding program and we can’t wait to see what they’re capable of. So far, we’ve been working on temperament as most of the rabbits that we’ve gotten from other farms seem to be resistant to handling. We’re working hard to develop bunnies that have sweet, cuddly temperaments that make wonderful pets as well as being useful for meat, pelts, fertilizer production and animal treats.
